Pulp and Paper
Some processes in the Pulp and Paper industry use the heat and energy contained in dry saturated steam to help produce an end product. Specifically, the pulping process often requires saturated steam to cook wood chips with an alkaline solution mixture of sulphites and carbonates, chlorides, or sulfates. The cooking process evenly ‘impregnates’ the wood chips in preparation for ‘digestion’ where the fibers are separated from other materials to create raw pulp. Halgo Power has a strong history of designing and engineering reliable package boilers that generate steam for this process in the Pulp and Paper industry.
